"Open Monumentendag"

Did you know that Open Monument Day is the largest free cultural event in the Netherlands? The municipality of Kaag en Braassem is participating as well. Around forty of our monuments open their doors to the public during this second weekend of September. There are many monuments, especially on the island of Kaag. Not all monuments in Kaag en Braassem can be viewed from the inside: at some, there is a sign with interesting information, and you can view the monument from the outside.
